The weather on the islands is hot and dry. But how hot and how dry is it? Have you gotten rid of all your "cold" clothes?

I have a pair of swimming trunks that I can send your way. It has been such a mild summer here in IL that I have not been able to use them.

It was so cold last night! It must have been 72 degrees. And the reality is I have a few long sleeve shirts but mostly all gone. Maybe I should buy a parka for the winter months coming.

Speaking of weather, how did the hurricanes effect you?

We had a day off of work and most everyone stayed home to prepare their house for the hurricane. Nothing really happened. We did not even get very much rain. We put everything in the house taped up the windows and parked the jeep in front of the big glass doors but nothing.

The next day we just cleaned up and went back to work. Very anxious about the whole thing and nothing happened so it was stressful.
