In December 2008, after 6 years of meaningful ministry and developing great friendships, our family made a difficult decision to leave Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. Though we wish circumstances had not dictated this decision we were now faced with another decision, what to do next since it was not possible to return to Curaçao. During this time confindence in our “missionary call” was clearly tested but we have come through more confident than before. With the assurance of our “call” from the Lord we began to seek Him in prayer concerning how to move forward. We are grateful that the Lord has spoken to our family and we have a new direction.
Our planned involvement with IMM in the areas of creative writing of children’s programming, training, administration, and technology are nothing short of a confirmation of what the Lord has spoken to us. We are excited to be part of a team of missionaries and the exponential increase in potential impact world wide; and with much anticipation we look forward to worldwide partnerships in bringing media that delivers the truth of Jesus to so many. Even the small things that the Lord has spoken to us about learning Spanish, something that we have longed to do for many years.
